Our College Bound Senior Management Team

We are a part of Kids Helping Kids, a 501 C3 non-profit organization run entirely by Juniors and Seniors in High School. As mentioned, we are the College Bound population.

College Bound serves Homeless, Foster, and At-Risk Youth by providing the necessities and resources necessary for college exploration. We provide these students with dorm supplies, laptops or computers, and any other significant necessities to alleviate their economic burdens.

We believe that every student deserves the chance to go into college feeling comfortable and prepared no matter their socioeconomic background. We believe in the fulfillment of students who desire a higher education. As students who care about improving the community and working towards advanced education, we want to give all students an equal opportunity to achieve their goals.

More About Kids Helping Kids Sacramento

Kids Helping Kids is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization run entirely by students at Del Campo High School. We believe that learning is best by doing, and doing is best by serving others. This belief led us to be recognized as the number one non-profit in the Sacramento region after competing in the Social Venture Partners Fast Pitch Competition, where we went up against other widely known organizations like Jimmy Carter's Habitat for Humanity.

Kids Helping Kids has also been recognized as the number one student-run non-profit in the world after competing and winning SAGE, a competition for students advancing global entrepreneurship. Our mission is to empower students to make a difference from the classroom to the community by investing in the lives of children in need, both locally and globally. Our students participate in Kids Helping Kids to be a part of this business. Instead of going to school every day, students come to work!

This year, the program is introducing The LAB, a new and innovative model that transforms how we operate. The LAB divides our organization into five groups, each dedicated to serving a specific population of children they are deeply passionate about helping. These populations include Pediatric Cancer, Protégé, College Bound, Human Trafficking, and Neonatal Development. This structure allows our students to make a meaningful difference in the lives of the children who they are deeply passionate about serving.
